Quoted from his Catholic Online article “Fishers of Men.”

“It is startling that those in the media and academia appear most disturbed by this aberrant behavior [the Catholic Church sex scandals], since they have zealously promoted moral relativism by sanctioning “private” moral matters such as alternative lifestyles.. ..it is no surprise that Boston, a seat of academic, political and cultural liberalism in America, lies at the center of the storm.”
–Senator Rick Santorum

To call it “moral relativism” is a fallacy. Smarter people than I have written about it here and here. The rest is just really beyond the pale. Mr. Santorum knows full well where he’s heading with this line of reasoning and he also knows it will only further divide our country.

Let’s just keep Liberty as an American ideal, ‘kay Rick?
