Ã¢â‚¬Å“I do think the battleground in this next election is going to be the Midwest Ã¢â‚¬â€œ Ohio, Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri. You add Florida, New Hampshire and New Mexico, youÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ve got most of the key, swing states,Ã¢â‚¬Â? he said.

So what Bayh is really saying is that whoever the Democrats nominate, they’ll need to be more centrist in their views.
