I thought I would cross-post a little bit here on something that is indirectly related to centrism.

Centrism requires bravery. And it requires perspective. I don’t know if the center will cure all the world’s problems. It’s a gamble. I just don’t know of a better way to attempt a way to grapple the changes that are upon us, other than to find common ground.

My post on Winds of Change is about a life-changing event in my life thirteen years ago today. Read it if you like.

I can’t exactly say that what happened to me made me a centrist. I might not actually be one, in my heart; I don’t know yet. But coming back from death’s brink changes a person. What we have is precious, and can be easily lost. I’m hoping that blogs like this one are the beginning of a change in our society — one where dialog adds to building life and liberty.

See ya next week.
