Aguillard) since it promotes a particular religion's beliefs. There is a good article in The Economist this week about the "intelligent design" push as well: http://www.economist.com/displaystory.cfm?story_id=4232431 I agree that it is a bunch of nonsense. Though according to the article, a large portion of Americans still don't want to face the science. "Two-thirds of Americans think humans were directly created by God (as opposed to 22% who think people "evolved from an earlier species"). Half do not think apes and men had a common ancestor."
