Conservative Group Won’t Support Roberts
By Justin Gardner | Related entries in Supreme CourtLet’s get real, a lot of these right-wing groups truly despise the GLBT community and their choices. So once it was revealed that Roberts helped out on a landmark gay rights case, it’s only logical that they pull their support. That’s right. I know it sounds odd, but I believe that this is perfectly reasonable and consistent with their views.
I mean, it’s sad and it’s close minded, but it’s still consistent with their values.
Of course maybe they forgot the “Judge not, lest ye be judged”…but hey, whatever.

Falls Church. Falwell’s plantation. This is as predictable as what oyu might expect out of boulder. Roberts sounds more and more like a good man. And this sounds more and more encouraging. Decent people on the right are going to see how corrosive some of their fellow travelers are.
