It looked even worse on TV than it sounds just by reading it. He acted like he knew nothing about the resignation or who was going to replace him. He just kept saying that he "was working," like a broken record/robot. I also found him to be quite defensive and resembling a petulent child. OK, maybe we already know that Bush isn't the most eloquent speaker in the world, but that was just ridiculous. I think the most disappointing thing is that he just started his 2nd 4-year term, which I fear is going to seem like an eternity. Ugh. I watched these interviews with Bush last night on PBS.
