The document under question has been around for years. It's been sent back for further revision several times. Nobody knows, outside a very restricted circle of authors and editors, what the current version says.

Certainly, there needs to be change at the seminaries. The disproportionate amount of homosexual abuse dealt out by priests who should not have been priests means that the reforms are going to hit homosexuals harder. Until the document is released, and we know what's actually in it, it is unfair to criticize and condemn. This unreleased document is a Rohrschach test that says much more about the commentor than about the authors who have yet to finish their work.
