I always avoid the octopus at sushi places, out of guilt. I watch them in the Baltimore aquarium. They are the most aware, deliberate and thoughtful creatures there. I only say that intuitively, but don't be surprised if we someday read that they are as clever as ravens. That and the meat is kind of leathery. That’s good to know.
