I just cannot stand Dems like Dean who just seem so far left and seem out of touch with reality.

The truly important word here is "seem" since a review of their records as Governors would almost certainly place Richardson to the left of Dean.

Richardson is of the ’say anything to please the crowd you are in front of at this moment’ school of populism, aka he has no priciples that I can discern from next door in AZ, or when I used to live in NM.

See, this is what I'm afraid of, but I'm going to reserve judgement for later.

But he's charismatic...

I am a lifelong republican who is very frustrated by the big spending of Bush. I just cannot stand Dems like Dean who just seem so far left and seem out of touch with reality.

I have listened to Bill Richardson on Fox news a number of times and he strikes me as a most reasonable man, heck, he could easily be a modrate Republican.

I thing he would make a good candidate but can he win the nomination against sure opposition from the far left?
