Just in case my drumbeat of recommendations for Michael Yon’s writings from and about Iraq hasn’t got you checking his site regularly yet, I’ll note that his latest is up. In many ways it’s the best yet; he’s no longer rolling through firefights and writing in a cloud of dust kicked up by AK-47 bullets. But now he’s starting to arrange the pieces he’s collected into big pictures. Shards become mosaics.
