It's always worth it, if you can make an example out of someone, for the rest to realize that secret are supposed to be just that. What if Plame had died because of this leak? I think most Americans would agree, if it were a member of their family put at risk, they wouldn't want Fitzgerald to "drop it"... The difference being here: Fitzgerald might actually get someone on the end of the line. It’s always worth it, if you can make an example out of someone, for the rest to realize that secret are supposed to be just that.
