Red v. Blue…A Followup
By Justin Gardner | Related entries in PollsI posted about Bush’s approval numbers a couple days ago here. Needless to say, the map looked fairly blue.
Meanwhile, in the comments to that post, people asked to see a map of the Dem’s approval rating. Well, Gateway Pundit has put together several maps that show the flip-side of the partisan coin.
And as a sidenote, if you want to see why Donklephant needs to exist, read this very civil exchange between myself and the GP.
Heh…
UPDATE:
Meanwhile, the poll Gateway Pundit took those numbers from (and created the maps) shows Republican approval is at 27%, just two percentage points above the Dems. Meanwhile, he uses a newer poll to show a higher approval rating for Bush.
Has Dem or Repub approval changed in those 12 days? Not sure, but I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough.
Just FYI.

Thanks Karl. I just added it.
Woops. Not intentional, although it may have seemed so.

The polls over at pollingreport.com look completely different from the ones on that right-wing website.
http://www.pollingreport.com/2006.htm
They have the most recent generic house of representatives poll at Democrats 48% vs. Republicans 41%.
Maybe these are just old polls (the most recent was from 11/20 I think). It just seems way too early to be predicting what’s going to happen in 2006.

Could it be that the public is disastisfied with politics??? Left, right, center, red, blue, purple, (and other misfits) for the most part think politics and most politicians SUCK.
Maybe it’s high time we all got over partisan politics, and got back to demanding our representatives engage in good governance!!!
