I like him because he's not in lockstep with the Republicans. I like him because he seems like he might give fair consideration to ideas that would seem politically untenable to many others. I like him because he's been in the military, and I always give bonus points for that. I like him because oh, maybe 6 or 7 times out of 10, I agree with him just on the issues, which is a fantastic score for a well-known politician. I don't like him because I think he's opportunistic, and isn't doing the politician thing out of any kind of sense of altruism.
