Yo Heave Ho

Rumblings of a military mutiny. Seymour Hersh’s notorious New Yorker article on war plans for Iran also states that some of the Joint Chiefs have threatened to resign if the nuclear bunker-buster option is not taken off the table.
Bottom line: our magnificent military deserves, and is now demanding, much better civilian leadership.

I thought this was a good point. Why not strategically use IAEA? Answer–cause Bush gets teased back at the frat house for being a wussy Europhile fruitcake.

DosPeros,
Not only would he catch flack from his frat buddies, but IAEA may tell use Bushco’s claims about Iran are as good as the propoganda he spun about Iraq. 3.5 % enrichment cannot make a bomb. I have not heard anything about triggering or electronics needed to detonate a bomb. Did Pakistan give Iran the tech needed to build a bomb, if so, that is one friendly allie.

The real issue is whether Bush is engaged in brinksmanship or if this is part of his messianic reordering of the Middle East and democracy spreading and the rest of the lunancy. Lord, lets pray for the 1st and not the 2nd.

You guys are buying Hersch’s lie? If a JCS threatened to resign over nuclear plans, he would be fired tomorrow. Strile that – it would be yesterday. Funny thing is, it wouldn’t be for disloyalty but for the failure to understand the basics of the planning cycle.
