Will enough people remember 18 years later that it was the Bush family and republicans that pushed Lieberman (D) to defeat Weicker (R)?? In 1990, Weicker, a moderate Republican who is politically to the left of Lieberman, ran for and was elected Governor of Connecticut as an independent.

Weicker endorsed Bill Bradley vs. Al Gore, and Howard Dean vs. John Kerry. That has to help Lamont -if- he gets Weicker's endorsement

Does this attack on Weicker help or hurt Lieberman?? Since this is a democratic primary, it helps Lamont, but it sets Lieberman up to run as an independent later on in the general. Unfortunately for Lieberman, Alan Schlesinger is an actual Republican with an actual (R) behind his name. In a three-way race, Lieberman, the sulking sourpuss throwing a tantrum, loses to Lamont and Schlesinger.

To further muddy the water, Weicker himself may run as an independent. If so, it goes back to who has the most money, Lieberman or Lamont?? Will DSCC head Chuck Schumer do as he claimed and back an incumbent "independent" Senator over the will of the state's Democratic voters?? You know, DLC birds of a feather and all that.

If bears crap in the woods, do they wipe?? A counter ad would have a bunny named Lieberman, if you catch my drift!!

Bad, but not as bad as the Kos ad. What a high-class race.

Oh, I think this one is so much worse. Joe should know better than doing something this damn stupid.
