But let's look at this from another perspective. GOP loses 20 seats and keeps control of Congress? B-O-R-I-N-G!!! GOP loses 50+ seats and loses control of both houses? Huge! Historic! Exciting! A real shakeup of government! Regardless of your political leanings, you should be rooting for Hastert to stay simply so you can tell your grandkids about the momentous elections of 2006. :) As someone who has repeatedly said the GOP deserves to lose big this year, I’m now pulling for Hastert to stay.

But let’s look at this from another perspective.
