Audio Proof Of Voter Intimidation
By Justin Gardner | Related entries in ElectionsThe Webb campaign has the actual audio of a voicemail message left on a voter’s machine.
Spookiest quote from the robocall…”If you do show up you will be charged criminally.”
UPDATE:
Here’s more about the problems in Virginia from the American Chronicle:
Threats of Incarceration, Changed Polling Locations, and Fliers to “Skip the Election.Over the past several days, voters throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia have filed complaints of incidents aimed at suppressing voter turn out in heavily Democratic and African American neighborhoods. Today, the Secretary of the Virginia State Board of Elections Jean Jensen concluded that the incidents appear widespread and deliberate.
“There are now credible reports from multiple jurisdictions around the Commonwealth that establish a pattern of dirty tricks being employed to confuse and frustrate Virginia’s voters from exercising their right to vote tomorrow. In addition to reports that have been received by the Democratic Party of Virginia, these local election officials have been receiving reports from concerned voters,â€Â? said Jack Young, co-chair of Promote the Vote.
Infuriating.

Perhaps a Remedy would be if the FEC offers a $100,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of election tampering.

George Allen is the wrong direction for America and the latest actions indicate a danger for those that value a functioning democracy. He and his people do not respect basic American principles. I put this short video together because their tactics really infuriated me: Sen. Allen’s thugs assault Mike Stark
After the election, the American people need to start working on creating legislation that will put politicians in their places. For starters, we need to have mandated public question and answer sessions were the general public can ask questions. I don’t know about you, but I simply do not see the questions I would like asked getting asked.
And if these politicians are willing to do these things to fellow American, why do you some people find it so unbelievable that they would be less than noble to foreigners in other countries?

Perhaps fewer of these things would happen if the people behind it went to jail for a decade or so…election tampering should be treated MUCH more seriously than it has been recently.

In my neck of the woods, it’s the labor unions who are very good at intimidation near the polling places. Don’t give them an impression that you’re voting anything but dem if you don’t want your car damaged while your inside!

Really Idjut? I have a hard time believing that one. If that is going on, someone could call the cops and file charges, no?
