But isn't this due to the backlash from all those years of Democratic control and union contract excesses? What we need is an honest debate about the role of government in our economy, and sit back and watch the fireworks fly ! I hope they end up losing their entire fencing company, business license, lock, stock, and barrel. The fact that this company was in government employ and openly flaunting US labor law simultaneously exposes a deep rift in the ethics of these businessmen, and, much as Enron laid bare earlier ethical lapses on the part of several corporate CEO's, this instance should give people pause to deeply reconsider their hiring practices, and deciding for themselves if making that extra margin on profit because of reduced wages paid to illegal workers is really and truly worth it.
