		<description>Mr Gardner;  Your &quot;Holding out hope for the W.H. getting their act together&quot; may be admirable but not wise. A Democrat in congress recently said ( I fortet his name,sorry) that talking to this administration about the nations most important issues is a waste of time. They go into each &#039;debate&#039; with their minds already made up, knowing the end game, just not sure how to get what they need to arrive there. 
Secondly, the pentagon and JCOC&#039;s prediction about what would happen after the U.S. surge is not too clairvoyant. It&#039;s what&#039;s been happening over and over again for the last three years !
Finally, I thought much of these 30,000 more troops were largely coming from exhisting deployed troops. If true, wouldn&#039;t this add further stress on our overextended military ?</description>
