What Does 200 Calories Look Like?

Since obesity is such a “growing” problem in our society, one can look at this issue as a political one since it ties directly into our rising health care costs.

Essentially, different foods are obviously healthier and I don’t think we ever really get a pictorial of how much of a certain food equals how many calories. The above is how many small peppers (a tasty snack) you can eat before you hit 200.

The rest of all you can eat here.

  1. Kasey Doshier Says:

according to that site i can eat a ton of bacon and only a dallop of peanut butter. pure genius.

  2. gal Says:

Kasey, how do you figure that? 34 grams of each of those things = 200 calories. Peanut butter is merely denser, and therefore takes up less room in the photo.

Besides, there’s more to nutrition than calories.
