Ok, so after all that explanation I still don’t have a better feel for how much $1 trillion is. So here’s another way. You ever watch that show Deal or No Deal ? I know, mindless pastime but good family watching.
Anyway, the top prize is a million bucks. Know how many people won? None yet, to my knowledge. But if the show played every night, and if a player went all the way and won the top prize each night of the week, and if that happened for about 3 years non-stop, week after week, month after month. But you’d only have $1 billion in total won by one thousand ‘millionairs’. Do that 1000 more times and after bout 3 thousand years you’d have 100,000 millionairs with a total of $1 trillion won. Or you could have a war in Iraq, whatever…
Does that help? I hope it’s right, I was making dinner while writing this and didn’t have time to check. Any accountants out there ?

1.2 trillion is worth the investment if it prevents terrorists from ascending to power across the Muslim world throughout this century.
