		<description>This is funny, in a way. Rudy&#039;s record will appeal to a majority of the electorate, but may well keep him from getting the nomination. He could pull a Joe Leiberman and run as an Independent. In the case of the Presidency,  a third party or independent candidate has never won the office without previous public support.
