I think the relevant question vis a vis “who will Bloomberg’s entrance into the race benefit” or “whether he should run” is whether it will help create a new vision for this country for transforming how we do politics. Independents are beginning to make the statement to all the presidential candidates (and Bloomberg is not excluded from this) that they’re going to have to convince us that they’re more interested in changing America for the better and getting us on right track than getting themselves elected. Bloomberg, at least, has gone through “lesson one” regarding what that means when he ran in NYC. “Some N.Y.ers might say”..where’d you get your press credentials Fox News? I moved from a 6.5 mi. slab of street and came out to the valley of the sun in ‘96 after Rudi’s “clean-living”Act.(an $88.00 piss,wtf!) Cigarette naziis humor me. they’re soooooo affected. And whenever local government needs a kick-back they install/impose a “sin” tax on the poor ol’ nicotine-addicted bastard. Whatta’ scam! Anyway, my ultimate point was/is: How’s all that exhaust you suck in everyday grabbin’ ya’? Have your newly narcissitic’ed asses found the fountain of youth yet(oh yeah that’s coming soon to a food establishment near you….”No Trans Fat”)? There you’ve got wall2wall people. Here we live in a big bowl.Where are the emissions going exactly? Both places apparently have dare i say ‘people’ who’ve decided if my “lobby” outnumbers/$’s yours then you lose–My rights are now your rights. Deal with it. This is not Democracy in action.
