I'm hoping Rudy is not bigoted enough to pick Romney as a VP...frankly I'm surprised Romney is even considered a first tier candidate, I can't imagine him even getting a tiny fraction of even the Republican vote.

Frankly, unless something really goes wrong with his campaign, I think Giuliani is about 75% likely to be the next Republican nominee, and McCain about 24% (assuming he has no health problems between now & then). Romney sits somewhere around 1% at best.

Of course this is all moot speculation because the Gore/Obama ticket will win ;)

The author of the article is right, Romney is gaining nothing but maybe a VP position. The chance to have a Rudy Giuliani presidency would be do too much good for either conservatives or moderates to take a pass

I definitely like Giuliani. I'm going to vote in my first primary to help make sure he gets the nomination.

You don't mention which poll you got youy 'latest' information from. Especially since most of the latest polls show that Mitt Romney is finally starting to gain ground - especially in the earliest primary states.
