Planned Parenthood, upheld the federal ban on partial-birth abortions without the escape-all exemption for the mother's health (for abortionists, i.e. "mental" health). Job well done SCOTUS, moving in the right moral and Constitutional direction. You would have thought someone would have posted something about this case around here -- but I guess its outcome was not "centrist" enough? Nor is there anyone I'd rather see leading the GOP. Neither McCain nor Romney are trustworthy, Gingrich is full of bizarre ideas, and Thompson is too much like what we've got already. It'll be a tough sell (pro-lifers are already going nuts about this quote) but it's got to be done, or the GOP will become the SBC party and the Democrats will reign ascendant like they haven't done since the New Deal.
