Hell! the worlds been ending since the beginning of time as far as humanity is concerned. It was inevitable I suppose, give a monkey a brain and he will find a way to destroy himself along with the rest of the monkey's.

I suppose one feel has to feel a sense of indifference at the whole thing. It seems there is little we can do to steer away from the seemingly inevitable. There is just too many points of view and hostilities in the world it is of wonder that we haven't had a catastophe on a global scale, yet you could point to many contemporary things and come to the conclusion that we are, such global warming, nuclear proliferation, world-wide pollution on a frightening scale.

This reminds of all the religious cults that preach about the Millennial Expectancy, where Jesus comes back to earth to "cleanse" of all the non-believers and do a sort of house-makeover, making the earth pristine again, like, well, before humans started messing it up. But ironically, with each of these even-year prophecies nothing happens, 1800 came and nothing! no Jesus, no Judgement Day, then 1900 and 2000, each time with a devoted group of religiously pious Christians and other religions swearing by the end of days.

I've come to the conclusion it really doesn't matter, if we blow ourselves up then I guess that's what we get. We couldn't hack the evolutionary arm of time, we cracked under the press and monkey will destroy himself. Sigh! well, American Idol is on tonight, got to go watch it cause ya know? there's nothing greater than American Idol and god knows the worlds greatest challenge voting for your favorite Idol.
