Video: Mentally Ill In Afghanistan

It’s amazing how little we hear about Afghanistan these days.

Now I find this tragic story about the mentally ill in the war torn country. Some are actually kept in chains. Devastating stuff.

    It certainly sounds like an abysmal situation, but I didn’t see anything in that video to suggest that things are worse in recent years. I doubt that Afghanistan has ever had the kind of mental health programs we know in the Western world.
