I even agree with you that it would lift up these “workers”, but that’s not our concern as American citizens. That may sound cold, but truthfully, that’s not what we’re here to do. We should instead protect our borders, ship criminals back home, hold their own governments responsible for dealing with them, and remove any temptation that would encourage illegal immigrants to either come here or those that are here to stay.

Our culture is dying because our politicians are focusing on their own personal gain if they “free these people from their country of origin”. Excuse me? Legal immigration I’m fine with, but it’s the illegal ones and their sympathizers that are to blame for claiming they have rights to be here when they have broken the law to do it.

Sorry for the rant. I’m just rather passionate about my country and how it’s being abused. I’m not saying it’s without blame – gosh, no. But we don’t have to help it along the road to its demise by allowing criminals to dictate their demands to us. :)
