While I don't agree with Ailes, the fact that the Dems (with the exception of Biden) don't want to debate on Fox bothers me a lot. First, it opens the door to more division within our country, where Dems debate only on CNN, Reps on Fox and maybe once on MSNBC. The other thing that bothers me with regard to this is that for the last 2 years or more, the Dems have been calling for the administration to talk to Iran and Syria, saying that the President should be willing to talk with people he disagrees with. Yet, they can't debate on Fox? It seems a little silly to me. If they really want to be the leaders of the party or the country, then they should go on Fox and debate in front of those who disagree with them. Finally, not debating on Fox is really about allowing the radicals at DailyKos to run the show. They don't want the Dems on Fox so they raise pressure to prevent it. That is one of the main things we've criticized about the Reps since Bush came into office, the fact that they kotow to the radicals in the party instead of the moderates.
