Concerning your defeatists comment, I’ve got more patriotism in my left nut than you do in your entire body. Show me a g’damn war that’s worth every drop of American blood spilled and I will be the first in line!

Wanting something badly enough by itself says nothing about whether that something is even achievable to start with.

If the latter, no one. The job is botched so badly that there is no satisfactorily solution.

It is inconceivable that anyone can support the current bumbling administration at this point, but as long as it as apologists on the right blasting the airwaves with propaganda, there will always people who will cling the notion that what is going on is acceptable.

It seems inconceivable that anyone could possible still be supporting this administration on a conscious, rationale level, but the problem is that group think is a very dangerous and powerful thing. People who think for themselves might be able to muster a little doubt if not for the constant enabling from the far right propogandists and those who refuse to think for themselves would fall into line if the two above would simply be honest and call this what it is–a fiasco.

There was a time when the conservative agenda was based on something for that shrill hyperbole intent on dividing the country along extreme lines. The right scares me. The left scares me. The middle has become an uncomfortable place.
