Heh, my left nut hasn't decided whether it wants to run yet, it's just too early in the game. We're not promising anything at this point.

I nominate Jeremy's "left nut" as the consensus builder. I believe that with the right scrotal management campaign team, a singular teste could hold the White House. I sincerely hope that Jeremy's "left nut" dips into the race quickly and starts an exploratory committee. Hillary simply has nothing to answer Jeremy's left nut...or right nut for that matterm

News flash! Sam, WW2 was a war worth fighting. Your inability to differentiate between a [just] war and a trumped-up one is, well, about as smart as Bush and about as rich as the oil companies and Haliburton are. How about you give back the 3,500 and counting American lives back and go fight this great war yourself.

Concerning your defeatists comment, I've got more patriotism in my left nut than you do in your entire body. Show me a g'damn war that's worth every drop of American blood spilled and I will be the first in line!

it is a rediculous notion that the only superpower left on earth cannot turn lead into gold. Oh, wait... (see how that works?)

Wanting something badly enough by itself says nothing about whether that something is even achievable to start with.

It is a rediculous notion that the only superpower on earth cannot beat a small country let alone a gang of religeous thugs. You have lost this war in your mind not on the battlefield. I am glad we did not have you defeatists around when we were fighting against Hitler.

No, I referred to the changing the consensus. The consensus is that this war is a lost cause. I'm asking the war's dwindling number of supporters whether there is anyone they can name who could turn the consensus around.

I'm not sure what you mean. Change the 30 percent or so who still believe in "staying the course?" Or actually come up with a strategy resolving the nonsense relatively satisfactorily?

If the latter, no one. The job is botched so badly that there is no satisfactorily solution.

If the former, a couple people--

Rush Limbaugh--love him or hate him, the man has a dedicated following of sheep...er, people. It is inconceivable that anyone can support the current bumbling administration at this point, but as long as it as apologists on the right blasting the airwaves with propaganda, there will always people who will cling the notion that what is going on is acceptable.

Rupert Murdoch -- see above. Can you imagine if Fox News suddenly came out against

It seems inconceivable that anyone could possible still be supporting this administration on a conscious, rationale level, but the problem is that group think is a very dangerous and powerful thing. People who think for themselves might be able to muster a little doubt if not for the constant enabling from the far right propogandists and those who refuse to think for themselves would fall into line if the two above would simply be honest and call this what it is--a fiasco.

There was a time when the conservative agenda was based on something for that shrill hyperbole intent on dividing the country along extreme lines. The right scares me. The left scares me. The middle has become an uncomfortable place.
