Social Security forces people to save money… held by a trustee that you don’t choose (the US).. so that you can draw from it when you retire until you die, and what remains in your SS account can’t go to your heirs; the government keeps it.

A) saving money for retirement is good, but forcing me to do it because the Holy Government knows what’s best for me?
B) even if we get past that, I’m forced to use the Holy Government as the trustee…. because why? becuase I can trust them?
C) let’s say I agree to the first two, then when I die, why can’t my heirs utilize the funds I worked for and had the US save for me… wouldn’t that be stealing?

How many of these inspired supporters actually think that he would win a general election after that?

We have to stop talking like “I like his views, I want him to become President, but I don’t think he can win.” He can become President, but people have to begin to realize that talking like this is not getting him any closer to the Presidency. Let people know how they can have a more positive aproach. “I want him to become President. He can do it but he needs our help!”

Don’t allow the Mainstream Media and Political Elite Neocons decide the Presidency in 2008. Our country needs to get back on track before it’s too late. Ron Paul needs our support now, he first needs to get the nomination of the Repulican Party before he can be President. Ron Paul needs everyone to make sure they are registered to vote as Republican before August 21st 2008.

The Federal government has already conquered and subjugated the state governments (like an agent taking control over his principal), and the consolidated government is already very much socialist, with an unholy corporatist alliance where big business is protected by government (corporations are like people, both good and bad, but they’re evil when government allies itself with certain businesses– corporatism = anti-free market = bad!)… but just wait until the dark cloud of Hiliary Clinton’s socialist empire casts itself upon this once free country.

Congress and the President are worthless. The Federal courts have inverted the Constitution to the point where it means the exact opposite of what it meant when it was ratified… and none of the amendments have legitimately increased the fed’s power. It’s time for powerful states to separate from the union. [This is all assuming Ron Paul doesn't get the nomination...]

That is not correct. He needs a majority of the delegates of each states Republican State Convention to go on to the Republican National Convention and vote to nominate Ron Paul. The popular vote outcome is virtually irrelevant.

I think you forgot the old hoary standard: “When Ron Paul takes a shower, he doesn’t get wet, the water gets Ron Paul.” But I really liked the frost bite one and the push-up one, never heard either of them before – did you make them up?

And while we Sons and Daughters of Liberty may talk up Ron Paul’s good points, it is only because there is a real dearth of bad points.

For example, while I am not enamored with the good Dr’s. opinion of G_d and the constituion, I am perfectly convinced that he would never let his opinion on religious matters influence his veto (or lack thereof) on any bill. I am certain that Dr. Paul would use Presidential power to ensure that not only would atheists be free from supporting religious activities (such as “faith-based initiatives” ), but those who are of minority religions would be able to finally enjoy their right to “free exercise thereof” (For example: Southwest Indian tribes, who consider peyote to be sacred.)
