Ron Paul has growing popular support but we do need delegate. Become a delegate. First register to vote Republican in your state. Secondly vote in the primaries. Stay after for the convening or convention (ask you state GOP for their procedure) There is local, state and national convention...Call you state GOP and ask, the truth will set you free!

Jim,

Social Security forces people to save money... held by a trustee that you don't choose (the US).. so that you can draw from it when you retire until you die, and what remains in your SS account can't go to your heirs; the government keeps it.

A) saving money for retirement is good, but forcing me to do it because the Holy Government knows what's best for me?
B) even if we get past that, I'm forced to use the Holy Government as the trustee.... because why? becuase I can trust them?
C) let's say I agree to the first two, then when I die, why can't my heirs utilize the funds I worked for and had the US save for me... wouldn't that be stealing?

Thank goodness Ron Paul can't become President. First, he can't win the Republican nomination. Secondly even if he does become the Republican nominee it won't be very long before he is asked if he wants to eliminate Social Security. If he shows the integrity these RP True Believers think he has he'll have to say "Yes, I do think so.". He will have to answer the same to questions about eliminating Medicaid (at least any federal contribution to it), Medicare, the EPA, the FDA, the FTC, OSHA and all federal involvement in the nation's educational system among other things.

How many of these inspired supporters actually think that he would win a general election after that?

People of The United States of America!

We have to stop talking like "I like his views, I want him to become President, but I don't think he can win." He can become President, but people have to begin to realize that talking like this is not getting him any closer to the Presidency. Let people know how they can have a more positive aproach. "I want him to become President. He can do it but he needs our help!"

Don't allow the Mainstream Media and Political Elite Neocons decide the Presidency in 2008. Our country needs to get back on track before it's too late. Ron Paul needs our support now, he first needs to get the nomination of the Repulican Party before he can be President. Ron Paul needs everyone to make sure they are registered to vote as Republican before August 21st 2008.

Ron Paul 2008, my hero!!! Hope for America

Whatever happened to a "government of laws, and not of men"? (you can include women in there as well). Voting should really come down to who will administer the laws (i.e., OPERATE WITHIN THE CONSTITUTION'S ENUMERATED POWERS!), and who is of sound character. Ron Paul is the only political figure I've ever heard of who I fits into EITHER category, let alone both.

The Federal government has already conquered and subjugated the state governments (like an agent taking control over his principal), and the consolidated government is already very much socialist, with an unholy corporatist alliance where big business is protected by government (corporations are like people, both good and bad, but they're evil when government allies itself with certain businesses-- corporatism = anti-free market = bad!)... but just wait until the dark cloud of Hiliary Clinton's socialist empire casts itself upon this once free country.

Congress and the President are worthless. The Federal courts have inverted the Constitution to the point where it means the exact opposite of what it meant when it was ratified... and none of the amendments have legitimately increased the fed's power. It's time for powerful states to separate from the union. [This is all assuming Ron Paul doesn't get the nomination...]

I don't agree with everything Dr. Paul. I do however admire his character. He is the only politician out there that says what he believes and stands by it. All the others say what is needed to be said just to get your vote, your money and more power. I need someone in office I can trust and I believe the only one who can accomplish that is Dr. Paul. His political record speaks for itself and that is why he has struck a cord with so many people on both sides of the isle.

Right now the Republican Party has a dozen candidates running for the nomination. Ron Paul is the only anti-war candidate in the entire field. Where do you think the anti-establishment vote is going to go? He has the highest number of hits on his campaign website, and when we come to the general election, guess who has been against the war from the beginning? With 70 percent of the people against the war Ron Paul wins again! I'm not so sure this is such a long shot.

I've never been so excited about an election before. I never thought I'd be on the web, sending mails, spreading the word as fast as possible about Ron Paul. Wake up, Ron Paul. Get home from work, Ron Paul.
I can't believe I'm doing this for someone, but like he said..."Freedom is popular!"

I agree with the people who say Ron Paul has a bigger chance to win than he is given credit for. I really think the media underestimates and ignores how popular Ron Paul has become. I also agree with what Kevin said, about Ron Paul not letting his personal beliefs get in the way of following the constitution and being fair to all Americans regardless.

I think the point that needs to be made to Republican voters is that Ron Paul is the ONLY Republican that can be a Democrat in the General Election. It is as simple as that. It is as if the GOP has decided to sit this election cycle out.

To Hope:

You said that "Ron Paul only needs about 30% vote from republicans sick of the war and abuse of powers to win in republican primaries."

That is not correct. He needs a majority of the delegates of each states Republican State Convention to go on to the Republican National Convention and vote to nominate Ron Paul. The popular vote outcome is virtually irrelevant.

Become a delegate - or lose!

Dos Peros,

Pretty good - ROFL.

I think you forgot the old hoary standard: "When Ron Paul takes a shower, he doesn't get wet, the water gets Ron Paul." But I really liked the frost bite one and the push-up one, never heard either of them before - did you make them up?

And while we Sons and Daughters of Liberty may talk up Ron Paul's good points, it is only because there is a real dearth of bad points.

For example, while I am not enamored with the good Dr's. opinion of G_d and the constituion, I am perfectly convinced that he would never let his opinion on religious matters influence his veto (or lack thereof) on any bill. I am certain that Dr. Paul would use Presidential power to ensure that not only would atheists be free from supporting religious activities (such as "faith-based initiatives" ), but those who are of minority religions would be able to finally enjoy their right to "free exercise thereof" (For example: Southwest Indian tribes, who consider peyote to be sacred.)

Later.

All the Ron Paul jokes aside, who else has voters excited right now? Who has caputured the imagination of Americans? Hillary? Rudy? I think not. You can try all you want to dismiss Ron Paul's ideas, but only a fool would disregard his record, which is oddly consistent, or his character, which is amazingly above reproach. How's Hillary's character? I guess some people aren't offended by her incredible arrogance. Or Rudy's character? Has he had enough wives yet? I know it's "crazy" to support an actual conservative with a stable family and a consistent voting record, but by golly, I'm willing to give it a try. Americans aren't so dumb yet as to forget that freedom is still the bedrock on which this country was built and become great. I think plenty of other thinking Americans feel the same way. We'll see what happens.

Sorry Justin, but apparently this is required of all Ron Paul supporters.

*Ron Paul is super.
*Ron Paul is terrific.
*If I were a woman, Ron Paul could have my baby and we would name him/her "Ron Paul's Baby"
*When the Boogeyman goes to sleep every night, he checks his closet for Ron Paul.
*Ron Paul doesn't read books. He stares them down until he gets the information he wants.
*There is no theory of evolution. Just a list of creatures Ron Paul has allowed to live.
*Outer space exists because it's afraid to be on the same planet with Ron Paul.
*Ron Paul does not sleep. He waits.
*Ron Paul is currently suing NBC, claiming Law and Order are trademarked names for his left and right legs.
*Ron Paul is the reason why Waldo is hiding.
*Ron Paul counted to infinity - twice.
*When Ron Paul does a pushup, he isn’t lifting himself up, he’s pushing the Earth down.
*Ron Paul is so fast, he can run around the world and punch himself in the back of the head.
*Ron Paul hand is the only hand that can beat a Royal Flush.
*Ron Paul can lead a horse to water AND make it drink.
*Ron Paul doesn’t wear a watch, HE decides what time it is.
*Ron Paul gave Mona Lisa that smile.
*Ron Paul can slam a revolving door.
*Ron Paul does not get frostbite. Ron Paul bites frost
*Remember the Soviet Union? They decided to quit after watching a Ron Paul marathon on Satellite TV.
*Contrary to popular belief, America is not a democracy, it is a Paulatorship.

Brief Overview of Congressman Paul’s Record:

He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.

He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.

Accept no substitutes! Only Ron Paul will do!
