Tancredo Slammed For “Nuke Mecca” Comments

From CNN, first let’s recount exactly what he said…
“If it is up to me, we are going to explain that an attack on this homeland of that nature would be followed by an attack on the holy sites in Mecca and Medina,” Tancredo said. “That is the only thing I can think of that might deter somebody from doing what they would otherwise do. If I am wrong, fine, tell me, and I would be happy to do something else. But you had better find a deterrent, or you will find an attack.”
Yeah, let’s turn the ENTIRE world against us and essentially declare a holy war against Islam. Good one Tom. That’s a well thought out strategy.
We had a decent strategy post 9/11 when we targeted Afghanistan. At the time we were saying that if you harbor terrorists who take responsibility for specific attacks, then we’re going to come in there and get them. But we didn’t follow through. Does that mean the strategy isn’t valid? Of course not, but I think we’re going to need a new administration in there to give it back some credibility.
In any event, somebody from the State department called Tom out on his nonsensical strategy…
Tom Casey, a deputy spokesman for the State Department, told CNN’s Elise Labott that the congressman’s comments were “reprehensible” and “absolutely crazy.”
Can I add “remarkably stupid” to that?

Yeah, I mean what would happen if we did something crazy like nuking Hiroshima in response to a Japanese attack! It would never work and the whole world would turn against us!
Not saying that nuking Mecca in response to the next terrorist attack is valid, but theoretically, IF the entire Muslim world was at war with us it would be the logical thing to do.

US policy was und will be still friendly toward Islam. In the past it was Sunni militant Muslims who enjoyed it, today it is their Shiite comrades. Poor Tancredo - I am sure you don´t cheat your voters.

Talk is cheap, however when tarts, fruitcakes, and chickenhawks like Tancredo make such outrageous comments, its appalling no one condemns such incendiary remarks.
What these comments do in effect is desensitizes Americans and people to the idea of an attack on Islamic and muslim holy sites, therefore reducing the alarm factor if this Armaggedon scenario were to happen.
As a proud American Muslim, I look at it this way, since Tancredo and his neocon ilk don’t got balls to say he’ll attack other religions holy sites and since he wanted the US to go to Muslim Afghanistan and Muslim Iraq, where US happens to be bogged down and CAN’T WIN…what are the chances of the military taking on the faith of a fifth of humanity?
For God’s sake this should be a eye-opening comment to anyone who still believes this nation doesn’t have its own share of radical, fanatical, Crusaders extremists (I think I used it all).

Such a statement from a United State Congressman and a career-politician is NOT, by any measure, his own personal suggestion and/or comment to a question on CNN (which is broadcasted worldwide. Not just USA) and is watched closely by many high-ranking leaders of other countries. Even if his reply was “emotionally charged” or “for some political gain”, he is actually telling the “truth” about what has already been pre-planned, and is engraved on the State Department’s book of “The New American Century” - which is United States’ Foreign Policy Manifesto and the Blue-Print for what’s to come. As a matter of fact (not some random coincidence), Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon him) had actually said (1,428 years ago) that “Before the coming down from the Heavens of Prophet Essa (Jesus, Peace Be Upon him) –Mecca and Medina will be surrounded and attacked by foreign armies”. Wake-up America, your own politicians are already working on bringing doomsday closer to reality (Read “Cheney. The Biography” by David Hayes.) America’s own politicians are digging America’s graves with their own hands, and the American people are just standing around watching. So, go-ahead America and keep on watching until your coffin is designed and made with your own tax dollars. Stop supporting Israel (the only poisonous CANCER in the Middle East) with money and weaponry and wicked-double-standard policies Israel — and stop killing innocent people in Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, and everywhere else — so you might have a chance of changing the course of history for your own good. May God Help You!

Let us be clear to all, when we have been told, we just believe without adding our own judgment. History proof itself. If you look at the history of major massacre, which happen in our era, you can easily determine or judge who will commit the same massacre to the nation or to the people. Let me list major massacre that happened, which is nothing to with Muslims or Islamic nations
1. Muslim didn’t kill Jesus, According Christianity.
2. Muslim didn’t kill 6 million jaws, in fact Muslim were giving shelter to the Jewish.
3. Muslim didn’t slave a single human being.
4. Muslim didn’t bomb or use any nuclear bomb in any nation to massacre any other nations.
5. Muslim didn’t colonize a nation nor steal people properties in their own nation….
6. September 11- Muslim didn’t do it……Use your imagination and judgment and educate yourself from the engineers who build it.
The list can continue….So, why Muslims are blamed for it? In regards to Mecca, there is a history that Mecca has been targeted many times and we all know what happened to those nation/people. So Muslim should consider this as a serious threat….. We just have to continue to educate other about Muslim and Islam…

Like other ignorant people Mr. Tancredo is also ignorant about Islam. Ignorant people think that we worship Mecca and Madina. This is not the case, Muslim never worship Mecca and Madina. We only consider those as holy places. We never worship Madina Mosque. We never worship Kaba but we face towards Kaba. So if Mr. Tancredo bombed at these places only building can be destroyed not the sanctity piousness of these places. We can make new building but Mr. Tancredo will make enemy the whole muslim community. Many Internet Sites has proved that 9/11 was a engineered inscident and no muslim is involved in it. It was only a propoganda against muslims. Mr. Tancredo is also trapped in this propoganda.
