Wow. Carl 'the Svengaly" Rove resigns and you guys are arguing about liberal bias in the media??? That is so 20th Century - Comendian Rush Limbaugh crap. Shouldn't we be talking about how likely it is that the Republican leadership talked Bush into "accepting" Rove's resignation because Rove has become a turd in the Republican punchbowl? "Needs to spend more time with the family"?? My ass. He needed to spend less time ruining it for the Republican nominees. Why do you think the goodbye was so "emotional"? This guy did not want to go. If they were riding high it NEVER would have happened. They failed and the Republicans ganged up and got him booted. ust like oke cranky what's-his-name that lost them the midterms. It can't possibly be anything else. Or is that so obvious, it's why you're not talking about it?? Anyway, I'm sorry he's going. He's so good to loathe. Well, the Dems still have Alberto to help em. That's good.

Dos or Tom, How many times have I heard that the media is liberal? And how many times have I heard an even remotely sound argument that would support that assertion? I’ve yet to hear one.

Richard Armitige said what? ZZzzz...

The largest financial and political scandal in the history of human civilization? Shhhh...John Kerry is leading by 2 points.

Condi Rice stuffed classified CIA documents down her pants-suit and kicked them down the sewer? No, that was Sandy-somebody. Forget about it.

I don't care what the forger said, Dan thinks the documents are authentic!

Tom, I agree that the Democrats are just as corrupt as the Republicans. They are like two gang families that control different turfs but control the entire city between them.

I've yet to hear one. Come up with some proof that the media is liberal or spare us the trite drivel.

Tired of the rhetoric, bomb-throwing and partisan hackery? Here we offer a respectful, honest forum for people who want to have a conversation about politics, the world and beyond.

Oh, honesty in advertising, eh Justin.

Good riddance to an evil man. Unfortunately I think it's likely that he's positioning himself to be the puppetmaster for the next personality without a brain they want to install as head puppet.

I have no idea where Tom comes up with this "anti-Republican" bias in the media, most media outlets are owned and operated by conservatives and show significant amounts of anti-progressive bias.

The anti-Republican bias of academia is obvious - the smarter you are, the more likely you are to not be a Republican. Unless of course you're rich and have no conscience.

Tom Grey, maybe you just don't like hearing reality. The media is "liberal" because they are the people on the ground, they see the policies at work. So, when the policies are policies of failure should the media tell us otherwise?

Wait a second there Tom...how is the Dem Congress corrupt?

And you can crow all day about anti-Republican bias, but the simple fact of the matter is the Republicans are the only party that has a stranglehold on the vast media outlet of radio. They also have a TV station that is blatantly favorable to them. These "liberal bias" arguments are tired and hackneyed. Try something else.

Given the anti-Republican bias of the media and academia, along with a war of questionable popularity, I think the only possible way Reps could win the White House in 2008 is ... if they lose Congress in 2006, so the voters can see Dems with power.

And how they use it, in practice. Like, meet the new corrupt Dem Congress, same as the old corrupt Rep Congress.

Too bad for me that I think small gov't domestic policy is most likely with a Dem Pres & a Rep Congress -- I really think we need a Pres who wants the USA to win in Iraq, and create a functioning democracy, or maybe 3. With no more than twice as many murders per capita as New York + LA + Chicago.
