Richardson makes Joe Biden look like a master of elocution who carefully measures and considers every words.

I liked Richardson at first, and he would probably be a good president, but the guy is completely hopeless as a candidate. Maybe some other year he could get away with these mistakes, but not after 7 years of GWB. Nobody wants to see a candidate who can’t open his mouth without inserting both feet.

Of course it was a joke. Having followed Richardson and having some feeling for his sense of humor, I had no doubt it was a joke when I first heard this. Afterwards his campaign also verified that it was a joke.
