Obama Pulling Women From Hillary

Some more insight behind that recent Des Moines Register poll:

In the new poll, Obama leads with support from 31 percent of women likely attend the caucuses, compared to 26 percent for Clinton. In October, Clinton was the preferred candidate of 34 percent of women caucusgoers, compared to 21 percent for Obama.

Women represent roughly six in 10 Democratic caucusgoers, according to the new poll.

That’s a pretty significant swing from October. The reason one woman gave was the Iran issue, but I doubt that’s why this is swinging. I think people are just, in general, thinking about Hillary as president. Sure, it’s one thing to respond to a poll, but when it gets closer to the time when you have to punch that chad or pull that lever or touch that screen, things change. That may be what’s happening here.

We’ll find out in a little over a month.

People will come to look at the burden of racial and gender prejudice, and increasingly not want to gamble. Edwards is who really represents people, so he is a obvious choice.

Hillary and Obama would have racism and gender discrimination a part of their presidency for as long as they were in office.

Edwards can bring the country together, and keep Congress in democratic hands.

Shoo ! Shoo ! Oscar… away with you… go back to the 1950’s where you belong.

    Obama 2008.

  3. Lemming Herder Says:

Women are tougher on women. Now with Oprah supporting Obama, there will be even more inroads into Hillary’s “lead”.

Edwards is still a better choice than either.
