I can’t believe what I am hearing from Huckabee supporters. Cute Christmas cards are supposed to prevent the coming recession?

SCARY THOUGHT FOR THE DAY #26:
Huckabee and Guiliani have nothing for the economy compared with Romney’s business and economic acumen. Will you still be complaining about Romney’s faith when they lay you off and foreclose your home? Get real, and don’t get me started about Huckabee as a foreign policy disaster. Huckabee and Ahmadinejad sitting across at a table???? That’s classic, what a nightmare.

Take all of the t-shirts mocking Bush you see at the mall and insert Huckabee’s face. That’s what college kids may be wearing until 2012. Bush haters are going to FEAST on Huckabee, what a goober…there’s a good image for the Republican stigma. Are you kidding me??

Why don’t we all vote for an inferior candidate merely because he’s not LDS. Evangelicals are going to ruin this nation.

I read Romney’s speech as saying, “if you are an atheist, you are unwelcome in my corner (or indeed in a free country).” As an atheist, I’m happy to take up the invitation to never again so much as consider voting for Romney.

The 3 top republicans all have a huge part of Bush in them, except on steroids. Huckabee is even more of a religious nut (and unlike Bush, I think he actually believes some of it), Rudy has Bush’s secrecy and dictator part covereed in overdrive and Romney makes Bush loook honest! What a group! God help us if one of these unAmerican whores is our next president!

Bob, are you trying to say that Huckabee has no foreign policy experience but Romney does? As far as I’m concerned, the only one who can justify any knowledge about foreign policy in either party is Joe Biden.

But I’m not disagreeing you about Huckabee… I’m just saying that Romney’s lacking just as much in some areas.

Oh please. Romney’s speech wasn’t even heard by the evangelicals. Run a poll, trust me, you’ll see. At this moment, the only thing they know about the man is that he’s a member of a “cult”. They’re not likely to hear or trust anything else.

Funny thing is, I did hear the speech, I thought it was excellent. I still won’t vote for him. Religion is part of it, but, contrary to what the other Bob said, he really isn’t a magnificent candidate. The republicans are fielding only one candidate worth voting for this year, and that’s Ron Paul. I have no intention of voting for Ron Paul, unless he’s facing Hillary, but he’s a whole lot better than anything else in the GOP.

Romney is a magnificent candidate. Giuliani is a weasel. Huckabee is a liberal except on social issues. He has no foreign policy experience, and no education, or background in business to prove he can solve problems.
