He was already VP on a ticket that tanked in 2004 and as the "southern male" on the Kerry/Edwards bid, he didn't help them win even ONE southern state. NOT ONE. Not to mention the fact that he's been campaigning in Iowa for 4 YEARS (he never left) and he's in 3rd place! Edwards is not a good bet. Democrats shouldn’t pin their hopes on John Edwards’ “electability”.
