Looks like your prediction was wrong. The good doctor got more then $6 Million. The voter turn out will be larger than you think. We are the most passionate supporters in recent political history. We are using effective guerrilla campaign tactics at the grassroots level and we will win.

In fact it amounted to just over $6 million. It surpasses John Kerry's $5.7 million one-day haul. Hillary's claim of $6.1 million in one day is bogus because the money was gathered over the course of week and only *reported* on a single day. This means Ron Paul is the new champ and it was all coordinated independent of the campaign by his supporters.

Well, everyone guessing $4.5 million were wrong.
By 9pm, the total was $5.05 million.

There were three goals built into the project:
1. Beat the last "money bomb" at $4.4 million - Done
2. Beat Hillary Clinton's reported $6.1 million - Probable
The current projection is $5.7 million for the day
3. Hit an astounding $10 million - not likely

Also, bear in mind that there's "flux" in the "one-day" calculation, since it begins at midnight EST and ends at midnight HST (Hawaii). Depending on the "prime hours", the total could vary.

More important: Paul is on-track to take in $25 million for the Fourth Quarter (end of the year), which makes him the ONLY Republican in the same fundraising league as Hillary and Obama. THAT IS NEWS.

Unless we have voter fraud ie. Diebolt voter theft.....like Florida or Ohio.....I think you will be surprised! But, this time around people are looking out for that! Difference is were fervent Paul supporters and will not just allow this campaign to roll over like Gore in 2000 or Kerry in 2004. I don't believe Ron Paul would just lay like they did....he believes in this thing we call our country!

I guess $8million. BTW, RP doesn't need a majority to win. This is the sad fact for the "establishment". Rudy, Huck, Romney, McCain, Thompson will have low turnout in a primary. None of them have passionate or committed followers. Say Huck pulls 30% in these polls. His 10% turnout converts to 3%. If he has 20% turnout, that means 6% at the polls. On the other hand, if RP is polling 10% and 90% of his Republican supporters show up (we all know they will!) then that is 9% at the polls which beats Huck as an example. Add to that the huge number of people who aren't "likely republican voters" and who aren't being measured in the current polls and the way I see it, RP wins hands down.

Follow the money, gambling sites say over 5 and less than six million. Good enough, follow the money instead of the polls too, Paul is in the top teir. Thus the top tier for votes since his support is firm. 88%. Never in our History has someone polled so low while raising in the top tier, and its not going to happen this time. The polls are used to shape opinion for CFR candidates only. Perception becomes reality, but this time there is some sand in the CFR gears.

Liberty Anthem
by Duce Suber

Secure our borders
With a presidents orders
Deport them all
Before we fall

Kill the fed
Off with its head
Or wait in line
For a piece of bread

Save our money
WE KNOW ITS FUNNY!
This is getting old
Lets get back to gold

Lose the mainstream
their not on our team
To listen to Hannity
Is just plain insanity.

Down with the establishment
Its just our entanglement
Vote for liberty
It whats meant to be

Wake up America!
Where have you been?
Take a look at congress
We have lions in our den

Peace and Prosperity
Is not where it ought to be
We fight in Iraq
But its time
To bring America back.

Ron Paul is for us All
Just as Jefferson saw,
Vote for America
Vote for us ALL.

I'm guessing around 5 million - It would be interesting to see 8 - but i doubt it. I agree with the long term affect - Washington should be very afraid from the neo-liberal movement

He'll bring in another $6million (making him the highest fundraiser for the quarter). Unfortunately it took segregationist Governor Wallace to reveal the truth that "there's not a dime's worth of difference between" Republicans and Democrats. The Democrats willingly went along with the War in Iraq, suspension of Habeas Corpus, detaining protesters, banning books like "America Deceived' from Amazon, stealing private lands (Kelo decision), warrant-less wiretapping and refusing to investigate 9/11 properly. They are both guilty of treason.
Support Dr. Ron Paul and save this great nation.

On the Tea Party site 35,539 folks have pledged to donate at least $100 each. Last time 2x the number pledged actually donated. Unless someone has been spamming the site or people are just more comfortable in pledging now - that means $7 million dollars. I know I will be donating more than $100. A lot more. I want this to pop the eye balls out of the MSM and the other candidates. It could be a VERY big deal in obtaining press coverage. And might help point out that Huckabee is trying to steal Ron Paul's base by bashing Bush (but not really proposing anything new) and doing away with the IRS (but replacing it with the national sales tax enforcers). Huckabee is a better talker, like a talk show host is a great talker, but he is inconsistent, and really is not saying anything of value that will change the status quo, which is his purpose. Huckabee is the one to beat now. We do not want another man from Hope running against the woman married to the man from Hope, Arkansas.

Let's not forget:

The poll samples only use land line phone households. I am 24 yrs. old and I have only cell phones, yet I own a home.

Primaries often have dismal turnout, especially when one must caucus...often not much more than 8%. So, the enthusiastic, i.e. the Paulites will show up big.

I have followed politics fervently for as long as I can remember and I knew little of Paul until recently. I have NO faith whatsoever in any other candidate than Paul, and I voted for Bush with confidence twice. I feel there are many like myself waking up to the fact that I was duped by the neo-cons for FAR too long.

I have never donated money to a candidate, only my time and efforts...until now. $500 just after midnight....

As for internet savvy spammers doing all the voting on the polls? I have spent more time on the internet only because of Paul.

The number will be up there, I'd say over $8 million, and the beauty is, it's coming from all walks of life, in small donations, unlike the camps of the media favorites. Its hard to find a flaw in the grassroots effort at hand, in fact this surge now defines TRUE grassroots efforts as we know them in the political arena. "It's the message!"

I have never donated money to a candidate, only my time and efforts…until now. $500 just after midnight….

As for internet savvy spammers doing all the voting on the polls? I have spent more time on the internet only because of Paul.

The number will be up there, I’d say over $8 million, and the beauty is, it’s coming from all walks of life, in small donations, unlike the camps of the media favorites. Its hard to find a flaw in the grassroots effort at hand, in fact this surge now defines TRUE grassroots efforts as we know them in the political arena. “It’s the message!”

"They know the bigger the number is tomorrow, the bigger threat Paul is long term. Yes, I’m talking about 3rd party."

Yawn.

You wrote that article just to get a few hits, didn't you? And some ad click-thoughs.

I'd suggest ron paul supporters give this one a pass.

Another point to make:

According to the website, Paul has 93,507 donors for the quarter so far. This means he has more than 70,000 new donors in this quarter alone, and he's quadroupled his fundraising base. He could even hit 100,000 donors by the end of the quarter; heck, maybe even by the end of the day!

Anyhow, the point is that he's probably got 10 times as much support nationwide as his fundraising base. So he's probably at at least 1 million hardcore, dedicated supporters right now. I don't think any other candidate can claim that much. So assuming all of these guys go out and vote, there is absolutely no reaosn to believe he will NOT be a contender for early primary wins.

Five million? HA! What a softball, Justin!

It's a couple minutes over five hours into the fundraiser, and he's almost cracked ONE MILLION DOLLARS from Midnight to Five AM! And the normal people haven't even gotten up yet!

If the donation/pledge ratio is the same as it was for November 5, I would he will raise $8 million for the day. I would say $7 million is a reasonable, conservative estimate.

Listen, my fellow RP supporters. Dr. Paul is on stage as a Republican. He's courting REPUBLICAN voters. Voters who don't know him. It would only hurt his chance of winning the nomination if he were to say, "I will run as a 3rd party if I don't get the Repub. nomination." Hello?! Smarten up guys. Of course our best hopes are he gets the GOP nod, but if he doesn't, he will go 3rd party and win. He'll get the anti-war dems (huge damage to dem nominee) and he'll get strong fiscal conservatives from the Repubs (pretty decent damage to the repub. nominee). And of course he'll get everyone who is sick of the usual suspects. Ron Paul will be our next president one way or the other. :)

He's on pace for $8 Million in one day based on the ronpaulgraphs.com site. His number of donors today are double what they were on Nov. 5th when he raised $4.2 Million. Look for the contributions to grab national headlines all day Sunday and Monday.

Look out America! The Ron Paul Tea Party is here!
