IMO, the programming genius brought in to do that revamp should be tied to a chair in a dark, damp, cold subterranean chamber, in front of a TV showing "Golden Girls" and "Designing Women" reruns, until his brain turns to something resembling chicken droppings. FWIW, it woul be interesting to see a comparision with the major networks' nightly news programs. I suspect the yield of substantive news is even much lower than for CNN and CNN Headline — which is really appalling.
