Molly, Ron Paul's purist stance would allow states to bring back Jim Crow if they wanted to. I don't think that's why he takes the position and I don't think it would happen, but technically it could.

States rights has nothing to do with racism. The libertarian viewpoint sees people as individuals, not members of groups. People who claim that Ron Paul would let southern states bring Jim Crow laws back are horribly misinformed. His philosophy is to put rights back in the hands of the people, while still adhering to the Constitution.

His opponents can't find any real dirt on him, so they accuse him of being a racist. Think for yourself, don't be sheep. Ron Paul is solid.

Eeeeewww. Something smells in here. And while I don't like Ron Paul as a candidate one thing I definitely DON'T think about him is that his states rights stance is based in racism.

The above is shameful and does not represent the Ron Paul campaign. It's been shown that the racist allegations recently made in media are false, and I believe people posing as racists supporting Ron Paul are fakes--this is an operation by the infamous "dirty tricks gang," who are very worried that Ron Paul has a chance. They'd rather see Hillary win than Ron Paul, and they'll do anything to see him beaten.

We are all seeing the same thing, a federal gov't which puts the interests of SPICS and NIGGERS before white Christians.

This must stop! RON PAUL 08: BRING BACK STATES' RIGHTS!

Here is Professor Ciac's analysis on Ron Paul (RP) in Iowa / New Hampshire:

Iowa 40% dems, 40% reps, 20% indies
RP was polling about 5% of reps, 30% indies.
Say half the 20% indies vote rep, half vote dem.
(40 * .05 + 10 * .30))/ 50 = 10.0% in Iowa (he got it)

New Hampshire 40% indie, say 30% dems and 30% reps.
RP polling about 8% of reps in NH, say polling at 30% for indies.
Say half the 40% indies vote rep, half vote dem.
(30 * .08 + 20 * .30))/ 50 = 16.8% in NH

I think Ron Paul has instigated a new federalist movement. What we're seeing is a chance for states to set their own social policies. 10th amendment-style federalism tolerates political and local diversity a lot more than our current system. It admits that freedom means different things to different populations - and it adjusts for that much better.

The message is strongest when embodied in a man whose ethic of life is honorable and principled. The nuance of his ideas do not translate in two sentence sound-bytes.

I am surprised still that some of the most popular MSM talking heads are as openly hostile and dismissve to Congressman Paul ideas as their corporate masters are fearfull and attentive to stiffle it's effects.
