Fox News Anchors Say Ron Paul Should Be In Forum
By Justin Gardner | Related entries in 2008 Election, New Hampshire, Republicans, Ron Paul, VideoThey’re not ignoring his 10%. Good.
So there ya go Paulites. I bet he’ll get an invite.
But were they scared of Paul? No. They just don’t think he has a shot to win the nomination. And there’s a 99% chance that they’re right.
Also, I don’t think Giuliani is a contender anymore, even though he’s leading in some national polls. Because once the first ballots are cast, that should be the true measure. Paul is more viable than Giuliani right now, so if Rudy’s going to be at the forum, so too should Paul.

I hope so.
Yes, Ron Paul supporters have been passionate to the point of annoying, but I think we’ve proven that there’s a significant minority within the republican base and America that want a return of constitutional lawmaking at the national level. We don’t have to agree with all Paul’s platforms because we know he’s the one politician that will respect the rules set down by our forefathers. This movement is more than Paul, its about getting back to the America we knew and the America we liked and while we may be unsuccessful in that pursuit, we believe that the goal is worthy of respect, if not support.
I think anyone whose getting above 1% of the national support should be allowed to debate until he/she drops out. The American people deserve to know about the choices they have and are smart enough to fill in the gaps left by the debates.

“It’s a trap!”
–Admiral Ackbar, “Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi”
Yes. This is a trap. Originally, Faux News wanted to keep Paul *out* of the debates and forums, because he wasn’t perceived as a “threat” to the cookie-cutter Demicans and Republocrats.
So, why the sudden about-face?
Because of Paul’s growing support among independent-minded voters!
The absolute last thing they want is Paul running outside of the GOP. Paul cannot win the GOP nomination. That game is over. What’s hoped by Faux and the rest of the jokers is that all this good $$$$ being spent on Ron Paul will be squandered on a fruitless run for the GOP. “Ron Paul? Let him spin his wheels and burn out his engine at the back of the field!”
In 1988, Dr. Lenora Fulani became the first African-American woman to gain ballot access in all 50 states. Every ballot in every state had her name printed on it, along with George H.W. Bush and Michael Dukakis.
In 1992, H. Ross Perot achieved ballot access in all 50 states, as well.
Both of these people achieved ballot access without the power of the Internet. They did it without text messaging. They did it without cell phones. They did it without blimps. They did it without “viral marketing.” They did it without YouTube. They did it without “money bombs” (well, let’s face it, Perot was a money bomb his own damn self!), “meetups,” Facebook, or contributions charged to your credit card at 5 a.m.
RONIACS, WAKE THE FRACK UP!!! Abandon the broke-down GOP bus, with the drive that makes you sit in the very back, next to the stinky, overflowing toilet.
Break out, and get moving!!!

>>> Paul cannot win the GOP nomination. <<<
What do you mean he “can’t?” He still got 10% of the vote in a state full of religious fanatics and farmers feeding at the trough. WY, NH, MI, and SC are all going to be competitive and Paul will win at least 2 of these states. Consider this: Paul is still in the race while Biden, Dodd, Richardson, Tancredo are out, and Kucinich and Hunter are on life support.
And no, he shouldn’t abandon the GOP, because then the media will ignore and marginalize him
