Obama Pulling Away In New Hampshire Polls

The big bounce is upon us…

10 point lead from CNN:

In the survey, conducted by the University of New Hampshire on Saturday and early Sunday, 39 percent of likely Granite State Democratic primary voters back Obama as the party’s nominee — that’s ten points ahead of Clinton’s 29 percent. Obama is up six points and Clinton down four points from our survey conducted on Friday and early Saturday.

13 point lead from USA Today:

• Obama: 41%; up from 32% [...]
• Clinton: 28%; down from 32%.
• John Edwards: 19%; up from 18%.
• Gov. Bill Richardson: 6%; down from 8%.

Dead heat from Zogby, but note the bolded:

Only 50% of this sample is after the Iowa caucus results were known and there has been a 5-point swing on the Democratic side. Clinton started out leading 32% to 26% over Obama and now she is in a dead heat at 31% to 30%. Obama has won in that part of the sample taken since Iowa – and just this past one day alone Obama led by 8 points.

Same story from Suffolk University:

In the Democratic Primary, Clinton (35 percent) leads Obama (33 percent), John Edwards (14 percent), Bill Richardson (5 percent), Dennis Kucinich (1 percent) and Mike Gravel (1 percent). Eleven percent were undecided.

“Barack Obama has cut a seventeen-point deficit to just two points today,” said David Paleologos, director of the Suffolk University Political Research Center. “He’s done this in four days with no sign of a slowing trend.”

This is extremely bad news for the Clinton camp.

How truly sad for the country. I wish money were not always such a determining factor. I deeply believe John Edwards is the best choice, and the only one that will fight for the Ameican people. Barack’s an ambassador of goodwill like a minister. Hillary’s a phony corporate, self-serving sell-out. When will we, as a people, wise up?
