Hillary Clinton Wins New Hampshire

Women brought it home for Hill. Massive win for her tonight. Congratulations are in order for her, her team and the state of New Hampshire for saying, “Umm, no, we’re not going to be crowning anybody tonight.”

Was it the debate? Was it the tearing up? Was it Bill going after Obama? Whatever it was, there’s new life in this Democratic race.

And all the pollsters were SO wrong it’s stunning. I mean, crazy stunning.

What a race!

Last note here…Hillary and Obama will most likely split the delegates here with 8 apiece. Correction. Hillary got 9, Obama got 9 and Edwards got 4.

If Hillary and Obama split the delegates evenly, then doesn’t this amount to merely a draw, rather than a win for Hillary? True, she won the “popular” vote, but the delegate count is what really matters, is it not?

That was a truly great line. I’m getting to like her. Not going to vote for her, but I like her.

I’ve been saying for a year that Clinton/Obama will be the ticket on the Dem side. I don’t see a Republican running that can beat that ticket (Hagel could’ve done it), and that means we are probably looking at 16 years of Democratic presidents.

I see that several other blogs are now calling the Dem campaign a two-horse race, with John Edwards the odd man out. No surprise there; Edwards never could get much traction. Still I wonder if he’ll try to hold out at least until Super Tuesday and see how that goes before officially throwing in the towel.
