I really believe Ron has one slim chance of being elected. If the dollar collaspes along with the stock market it might wake up the american people. If not they will continue to believe all of the BS the media and politicians feed them.

"Oh, how I wish Ron Paul supporters would be honest with themselves."

What the Hell do you think we're doing Justin? We're out there busting our asses everyday for this wonderful man. If he isn't nominated, that's fine - but the train has already left the station, and without us, whatever loser the GOP nominee selects will lose to Hillary or Obama in a landslide. In the future, Republican candidates are going to call themselves "Ron Paul Republicans." Who in the F is going to remember Giuliani? McCain? Romney? Or Huckster? These four losers will be in the ashtray of history while Paul will be revered (pun intended) by our children and grandchildren.

"It really would be a refreshing change, especially since they have an opportunity to build an entirely new, energetic political movement but are squandering it on trying to win a contest they have no chance of winning."

You are so condescendingly snide with your statement. THAT'S what we're doing. Trying to move the GOP back to its traditional roots.

"Two words: 3rd party."

One word - WHATEVER. When Paul gracefully bows out of the race after the GOP backstabs him and kicks him out of the convention, he's going to win his Congressional seat back while the GOP nominee and lower candidates lose in a landslide.

Spot on Lincoln. I started visiting this site back in the Summer and read it still hoping to find the honest reporting they had back then. It seems lately that Justin simply doesn't like Paul and looks for any opening to mock him or his supporters.

Justin Gardner,
Oh how I wish Justin Gardner would be honest with himself, stop making superior little comments about people and just answer with reasons the points made by his readers. He could do that right now.

It would be refreshing.

Damnit you troll, you got me again. Instead of trying to avoid your articles, I will now just avoid this website entirely. BTW, as soon as Ron Paul announces a third party run, I will fully support it.

This country will never turn libertarian. The last decade has proven that government is needed as a counter to corporate power. It has also proven that globalization produces unpredictable variances in the economy that produces not only unemployment but long term unemployment even for skilled people. Paul and libertarians in general don't believe in a social safety net at a time when most people realize that it is an utter necessity. Why should they vote for someone who is ideologically opposed to what is a necessity in the 21st century?

"But he will win, right Paulites? He’ll make a stunning come from behind win because all of these GOPers will just all of sudden change their entire political value system and get wise to the one true way. Heh."

What the fuck?

I've been a regular visitor since I stumbled across this site (looking for Ron Paul info) last summer, and have thought well of the site. Things have been very professional and open, even with some of the louder Paul supporters showing up. Why the cheap shot?

That's as rhetorical question, as I won't be coming back to be mocked again for supporting the only R candidate worth a damn.

You write:
"Just 12% believe Paul would have a chance to win the election if nominated."

12% of what? Of what's left of the corrupt GOP that is totally out of step with the American people on the war (70% against), the economy and civil liberties?

That group is not going to determine who wins the election. In fact, they are in the minority and will pick the loser.
