Huckabee, McCain In Tight Battle In Virginia

And this might be the reason why McCain is having trouble today…
Several older folks cast their ballots for Mr. Obama, including retired couple Don and Peggy Fredericksen.“We voted for Obama and we’re Republican!†Mr. Fredericksen said. “Obama is the voice of hope and change. We like McCain too, but he doesn’t need our help in this election.â€
But what would they do in the general election if it came down to Mr. Obama versus Mr. McCain?
“That’s a good question,†Don Fredericksen said. “There’s definitely a possibility that we’ll vote across our party line for Obama.â€
If those moderates and independents are voting for Obama instead of McCain, that could be why he’s not dominating.
