Virtually Impossible Clinton Can Get More Pledged Delegates
By Justin Gardner | Related entries in 2008 Election, Barack, Democrats, Hillary, Super Delegates!!!, VideoHoward Fineman has the scoop…
Listen, if her camp really thinks they can use the super delegates to capture the nomination, they’re fooling themselves. That is pure political fantasy. Is it technically possible? Sure, but there would be an upheaval in the Democratic party the likes of which can not even be imagined. Would she really do that to her party? I think the answer will ultimately prove to be no, but I guess we’ll see.
On the other hand, this is big, big, big news for Obama because what it suggests, barring any big mistakes, is that he has a very clear and credible path to the nomination. Hillary’s camp took their eye off the ball in these post Super Tuesday states and it looks very likely to kill her chances at becoming the Democratic nominee.
More as it develops…

[...] agree with Justin Gardner, if Hillary thinks she can use the superdelegates to steal this nomination, she’s kidding [...]

Hillary getting the nomination via superdelegate votes would not look good. It would make her look like a politician desperate to do anything it takes to win. Having the Democratic nominee chosen in such a non-democratic way would effectively keep the White House in Republican hands for another four years. I can’t see how a Hillary superdelegate victory could avoid being spun in the worst way possible.

Agree with that take. Now, are you spinning? Because if you are not, neither will the republicans.
They will merely point out the obvious. Same as you are doing.
I find it amusing the same party that constantly cries ‘disenfranchiment’ and touts ‘fairness’ employs such a method to arrive at their nominee, making null everybody else’s vote.
Blatant hypocrisy and double talk.
