[...] This is obviously a Campaigning 101 tactic: When you are losing ground to your opponent, schedule a debate, try to make your case and hope to get greater exposure. Add to this mix reports that she is loaning her campaign money and many of her top donors are reportedly tapped out. A debate could be a saving grace for her and she hopes that it will be the stop-gag to her campaign’s spiral into oblivion. [...]

Her campaign planning has been atrocious and she isn't the candidate her husband was to make up for it.

Well put, fuck the status quo. She can take her "experience" and shove it up her twat. The only experience she has is playing the game and pandering to her special interest cronies.

This is over already. Texas will be incredibly close if she even wins- Ohio too. She needs to win by 20% plus to just be even with the popular vote - not even mentioning the delegate spread. It's over - barring Barack being found with a dead woman or a live boy (to steal a quote) it looks like he's going to close the deal. Hillary has too much baggage, couldn't plan appropriately, has no vision, apparently no managerial talent, and her team belongs in the "Bush" league:) There is that whole Super Delegate thing which scares the hell out of me - but I can't believe they would actually attempt to over turn popular precedence. The Democratic party could lose a butt kicking contest with a one legged man so I won't commit to anything though.

Superdelegates exist because of Mondale, Democrats decided after his disastrous candidacy that Party folks should have a say as well as the people. Its an old system that needs to be replaced.

Speaking of hubris. Obama is now pulling a page out of the Clinton playbook. The "inevitability" meme is now coming out of the Obama camp.

There is a lot of gamesmanship going on here, from both camps. The Obama camp pretending that its all about elected delegates as if the superdelegates are an afterthought and compelled to go along. One question - If that is the case - Why do super delegates exist? I am not saying they should exist, I am just saying people need to think about "why".

Here is a scenario where the Obama camp could be proved wrong: Clinton wins in Texas and Ohio. That gives her the winning popular majority in all the most important big states (except Illinois) - including California, New York - not to mention the people who voted for her in Michigan and Florida. If that happens the superdelegates will have the political cover they need to vote for Clinton - even if Obama has a lead in elected delegates and popular vote.

If Obama takes either Texas or Ohio, then I'll agree it is over.
