Bill, Seriously, Get Off The Campaign Trail
By Justin Gardner | Related entries in 2008 Election, Billary, VideoIn the following clip, he actually says, “If you elect me, I’ll repeal those subsidies…”
(Note: I didn’t know the video was autoloading (and repeating?), so you can go and see it here.)
I really think that historians will look back on this campaign and agree that Bill has hurt Hillary SO much more than he has helped her.
UPDATE:
Okay, I missed something here. He says, “Hillary says…” at the beginning of the clip, so the sound bite can, and should be, considered as if he’s speaking as his wife.
Still, it’s pretty clumsy and doesn’t help the idea that people think if Hillary got elected it would be a dual presidency.

I’m no fan of Bill Clinton – in fact I think he’s a disgrace – Hillary should have divorced him long ago and run against Bush in 2004. However, Bill does preface this “short” by saying “Hillary says ” right at the beginning – so I don’t think it’s an Alzheimers moment, I think he was paraphrasing. It’s a bit like watching Jordan return with the Wizards……..

Yep, Terrence is right. This whole speech was quoting what Hillary said. Anyway, I never wanted her to run in the first place, since she’s the best chance the Repubs. ever had for another 4 years in the W.H. That just can’t happen for so many reasons, least of which is they simply don’t deserve it.
I don’t have enough confidence in Obama yet, and the MSM is doing a poor job at filing us in. Is it b/c there just isn’t enough info there?
I wanna know more about where we’re heading and less about where we’ve already been!
