In a recent black & white Pennsylvania political ad, 3 year-old Hillary Rodham, arms extended, toddles toward the camera. Hillary’s voice-over explains the Rodham family cottage, down by the lake, lacked indoor plumbing. It was hardship borne from the start. Yet, more telling events seem to fall by the wayside. Take Hillary’s first real job, with, I might add, indoor plumbing. The upshot: Jerry Zeifman fired Hillary for unethical practices during the Watergate Investigation. Why was twenty-seven year old Hillary fired? “Because she was a liar,” Zeifman said in a recent interview. “She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.”

Not only does Mr. Zeifman’s story go to character, it goes to a lifelong pattern of lying and obfuscation. And, it took Zeifman twelve years to get it aired. After Watergate, Zeifman could not recommend Hillary for any subsequent position of public or private trust, nor furnish her with a letter of recommendation. After that TKO, Hillary Clinton’s employment record is a matter of strict patronage and cronyism. Although few suspected the lengths to which Hillary would go, a leopard never changes her spots. Jamie, no he didn’t. He has always been consistent about Wright. Everybody is taking his statement that he heard Wright say controversial things as proof that Obama heard those YouTube clips. But he never said that.

I’m certainly not suggesting that politicians are completely honest, but this is one meme that needs to die. It’s simply not true.

People have very short memories. Obama lied too, not just Hillary. First he stated that he never heard Pastor Wright, then he stated he had, then he later stated that he hadn’t. So give me a break. I think people are looking for a politician who doesn’t ever get caught lying, because honestly, do you think there are any who are completely honest. That’s what I thought.

I agree, Wright might hurt Obama, but what we DEMOCRATS dont want, is another LYING POLITICIAN LIKE HILLARY CLINTON - to represent us in the General. Electing her would be handing the Presidency to the Republicans, PERIOD.

They will use that Bosnia, Nafta Loop - out of Hillary’s own words to beat us Democrats down.

You know, misspeaking is one thing, remembering things not quite right happens. But if I were running across the tarmac trying not to get hit with sniper fire I seriously doubt I’d ever forget that. In Bill Clinton’s words, “Give me a break”.

Hillary Clinton lied, plain and simple. What else has she lied about?

Obama may suffer fallout from the Wright episode, but recent revelations about Hillary Clinton’s “misstatements”about NAFTA and Bosnia could cause even more voter unease. The “sniper fire” lie in particular may be reflected in next week’s poll results.

I haven’t expected Obama to win PA since he lost Ohio. I’ve thought each candidate’s win pattern would hold. At that time, I expected Obama to close the gap but not win. Now in the wake of the Pastor Wright story, I’m actually fairly surprised that Clinton ’s double digit lead has dwindled a bit.
