The military is also unclear about who we are fighting and why General Petraeus said we Iranian backed insurgents fired the rockets into the Green Zone, yet most of the fighting was against al Sadr, who is Shiite trying to push Iran out of Iraq.

To add to the confusion, the Iraqi army and police are full of Badr Organization members, who are the Iraqi most closely allied to Iran. So maybe the Iraqi military is lobbing missiles into the Green Zone (a possibility) or the situation is lot more complicated that is presently being reported.
